Horses For Sale

I got to know Jack through taking a share in his first horse, Wooders Dream, which I had named when with another syndicate, so I just had to follow her when she moved to his yard. Visiting the stables and getting to know Jack led me to buying my own horses for him to train.

From the outset, my strategy was to buy Great British Bonus-registered fillies. Through discussions and sales catalogue reviews, we purchased Fengari, who won on debut at Leicester in May 2023, picking up a £10,000 GB Bonus and providing Jack with his first ever two-year-old winner. It was a great feeling to see a plan come together at the first attempt.

We later bought Star Mind, another inexpensive filly, who also won on debut for us and secured a £20,000 GB Bonus, showing once again how Jack can turn around the fortunes of a filly in a short space of time.

In 2024, I teamed up with first-time owner Christopher Vasey to buy Annsar at the Tattersalls Breeze-Up Sale. Jack always felt she was a nice type, and after giving her time she rewarded that patience by winning two full GB Bonuses before taking us to Royal Ascot in the Sandringham, which was a fantastic day for us all.

Chris and I have enjoyed further success with Confide In Me, another cheaply bought filly who, after Jack gave her the time and care she needed, won a full GB Bonus on her debut for us.

Chris and I have built a great relationship with Jack and his team. We receive regular updates through voice messages and gallop videos, are always welcome to visit the yard, and regularly discuss race planning, sales and future targets together.

Over the years I have been with Jack, I've seen the yard grow and progress, and it has been a pleasure to be part of that journey.
